We started GiftCardRecycler.com since no one else in the plastic gift card industry was doing it. InstaPayment Inc. The owner of GiftCardRecycler.com currently produces Gift Cards for private companies and also is working with Credit Unions to produce International Debit Cards for their members. The InstaPayment Cards offer Merchants a lower rate then traditional Debit and Credit cards so are preferred by Merchants. We also have a more secure product which eliminates the problems from identity theft for our users. At InstaPayment we identified the use of PVC gift cards as an area that needed fixing According to the International Card Manufacturers Association, nearly 10 billion gift cards are created every year. Most of these cards are made from PVC, and it is impossible for consumers to recycle them via household schemes. That means 10 billion cards heading for the landfill. So we created GiftCardRecycler.com and will pay consumers to recycle! Currently this is a grassroots effort being fully underwritten by InstaPayment.com .
